| Yesterday was Jen's 21st birthday. We celebrated by going out to sushi with friends Saturday night, then Telila treated Jen to get pampered at the Red Rocks hotel's Spa. We had a custom-made cake with Jen's picture on it in costume and make-up. Sorry this is such a quick post about Jen's birthday; more details and pictures will be coming soon. ^_^ | | |
| Last weekend, we saw "Ratatouille" and "Transformers". I really loved both of those movies. "Ratatouille" is a very clever movie about a rat who wants to become a chef in Paris. It was hilariously funny and really well done. We went to a special showing for "Transformers" and Jen and her boyfriend waited 1 1/2 hrs. in line to get good seats for all of us. I really enjoyed this movie not only because it's a classic but because it had a good combination of great CGI and character developement. 2 thumbs way up for both of those movies. You gotta go see them!!
I updated the KA gallery on my website. | Wow, it's almost been forever since I last posted. As you can imagine, work has been really busy therefore the posts have become more infrequent. There's actually SO many things I need to post but haven't gotten the time to do it. This is just a quick post about this awesome new online RPG for the PC called "The Lord of the Rings; Shadows of Angmar". Jason and I have been playing for the past couple months and are looking for more recruits to join our fellowship. I'm a Level 25 Elf Lore-Master traveling with Jason, a Level 30 Dwarf Minstrel. We live in the "Vilya" server. Anyone interested? http://www.lotro.com/buynow/ or if you are there already, send me your screen name and maybe we can all play together.
On another note, I posted a few new galleries on my website. If you're interested, visit this link: http://www.geocities.com/wushubabe/Gallery/index.html
The top 4 links are all rather new; some from my MySpace and one completely new. I hope to post a few more slides soon. Enjoy! | | |
| Hi everyone, Sorry that I haven't posted in a month. As you can imagine, I've been swamped with work and stuff. A lot has happened that I'm going to post about here but I need to find the time to blog and upload pictures. As soon as I find that window of opportunity, I'll be sure to make it worth your while. Please be patient with me. On another note, I saw 2 movies this weekend: "Meet the Robinsons" and "Peaceful Warrior". I really loved "Meet the Robinsons"; it was a really touching story and well-written. Jason got us free tickets to see "Peaceful Warrior". I enjoyed that movie too; it teaches you a lot about perseverance and the battles you fight within. You can learn a lot from that movie. Also, Pochacco got a haircut. She is a Cockapoo but now looks like a small Labrador. HEHE My dad gave her a haircut because it's going to get really hot in Las Vegas, plus Pochacco is much easier to clean when she goes potty. | | |
